pneumonia (or however you spell it)

Well, I'm officially sick now...went to doc in the box yesterday and had some chest xrays done and it has gone to pneumonia.. Why on earth do I turn 40 and just start falling apart???? So I am on bedrest so I don't end up in the hospital! So yall give me something to read!

Ok, so I took Bear to get groomed last Friday. The ladies at the groomer kept saying she is so cute, she is so small, she is so sweet, each time I would follow up with HE, HE, HE....I don't think they listened....now we have to go to doggie therapy over it all.... way to go ladies!

Back to the living

Well, after what seems like 2 weeks of being down I'm finally back up again! Almost...I still can not taste or smell... I have a lost a little weight and for a second the other day thought to myself it would kind of be a blessing not to be able to smell or taste again...my appetite and cravings for favorite foods that are dripping in grease would certainly take a hit... but then quickly snapped out of it and said Lord please do not think twice about what I was thinking! I want to smell bacon cooking, onions and peppers sauteeing although I could do with out ever smelling gas expelling from any of the boys in my house again...including the dog!!! I'll leave you with that thought. (Hey, you are the one the one that asked am I ever gonna update my blog...so there it is!) Have a great day!

****NEWS FLASH****

We now have two Eagle Scouts in the house! Tyler joined the ranks of Eagle Scout last night. After a few tears from a couple of his leaders and himself he was congratulated. I am SOOOOO proud of him. He has worked long and hard for the honor. Camping, participation, leadership, that all came easy to him. The bookwork was a different story....and unfortunately that is what he couldn't attain it without it. But he perservered (Franks words) and I am so proud for him. This isn't just an accomplishment for him, but for all the leaders as well. If it were not for them he could not have made it. They are an awesome group of guys and gals that put in countless hours to make a difference in these young mens lives. Hats off to all of you for a job well done. Pics will follow. (I forgot my card reader this morning)

My best friends

My two best friends right now are OJ and Kleenix... I'm sick...still. Been sick since Friday. God, when does the snot end? I'm all medicined out...it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm going cold turkey and suffering it out might resort to my old best friend (crown royal..) before it is all over.... to get me through it...

Bear had his first bath at our house the other day.... I don't know who got more water on them..him or me. He did pretty good though. This is before I got his head really wet. He wouldn't be standing this still if it were after!

This at the end of the drive looking over to where the house is going to be. We are just about done cutting trees for the size of the house. Next we have to determine how many feet out from the house needs to be cut. That is the part I do not like...

We went up to the cabin that we stayed in OK this past weekend. I wanted to get some measurements and let my architect aka Aunt Vicky see what I kept talking about in means of the floorplan. I think she has a clearer picture now. Some modifications will have to be made, but hopefully it will end up similar to this. I already know, utility bills will be expensive... you don't have to tell me. I'll cut back on something else....We will not have these big windows as it would cost like my next 2 years salary. But we will have some on the end like this. Thanks for looking!

Our new baby

Well, ok, not baby as in two legs, but four legs....his name is bear! He is a maltese and he is sweet!!!!

We are adding a new member to our family.....
